Bill Dodd, Chairman of Collectible World Studios in the UK, already knew Stacy Bayne, sculptor and former model, and when the idea came for 'The Latest Thing' Bill knew exactly who to speak to about it! Many months later, working with great teams of people both in the UK and the USA, 'The Latest Thing" is a reality and Willitt's Designs are very proud to be introducing the collection to the US Marketplace.

What is 'The Latest Thing'

          Whether we're dressed up to the nines or doing our own thing, the message is the same. It's 'The Latest Thing'. It's the kind of phrase that's probably been heard since women started to wear clothes.
          In homage to the changing world of women's fashion. "The Latest Thing' is our collection of miniature mannequins, showing all the trends, styles and fashions of the last hundred years, each capturing a moment in history, a key icon or a unique attitude in a series of memorable pieces. They're eminently collectible and together make a unique collection of the history of 20th century fashion. Exquisitely detailed in the clothing appropriate to the time, they are also completed in a variety of finishes to create the atmosphere of the period.
      "The Latest Thing' is built around key themes that illustrate a fashion trend or a particular style from the world of couture, tracing the social history of a century that has seen remarkable changes in the clothes women wear and the reason they wear them.
          Designed to change one's shape or show off one's status, to intrigue ones friends or shock the office, clothes are a statement of personality, a reflection of the inner person.
